Earlier in July, the star gave a teaser of this song when Dixie posted a video singing a cappella. Needless to say, the TikTok video went viral in no time and racked up more than 16 million views and 125,000 comments in just 24 hours.

Furthermore, she hopes that anyone who listens to this song is reminded that it is okay to feel whatever you are feeling. It is okay to have bad days.

In order to make the track more lively, Dixie D’Amelio worked in a virtual studio alongside Christian Medice, a popular music producer who has previously worked with Halsey and P!nk.

Medice revealed that there are not enough songs that open up about mental health. Moreover, the producer added that he loves that the song is able to pass a serious message in a catch and upbeat manner while not coming across as corny and preachy. Medica, Billy Man, and Sam De Rosa are the co-writers of the song.

Along with the message it delivers, the song is also special because it is the first-ever song that Dixie D’Amelio recorded.

The entire video is set up in a beautifully massive house. Dixie D’Amelio is seen in different parts of the house – from bathroom, living room to terrace, and swimming pool. While the on-screen vibe of the video is gloomy, offline, everyone seemed to have so much fun.

There is a small stunt scene in the video, which the singer’s parents did not want her to do. They objected because Dixie is reckless and often clumsy and did not want her to get her. However, the singer practiced the stunt beforehand and ended up doing it perfectly.

It was an underwater act. She also had to sing underwater, which is something that she had never done before. On the whole, it looked like a fun and special experience for Dixie D’Amelio and her parents. In small sections of the video, we can see her parents getting emotional seeing their daughter preparing for her first-ever single.
