The company has made an official announcement that by the end of 2020, PlayStation 5 will be released. At the beginning of 2019, the chief architect of Sony PlayStation, Mark Cerny, made a public appearance where he said that Sony is working to bring the successor for PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. Though Cerny didn’t reveal any insights on the specification then, it was rumored that PS5 will still be played on discs.
